What do I need to bring to my tax appointment?

The team at Josh Lewis Accounting have put together a guide for the types of documents you may need to bring to your tax appointment.

It's that time of year again, the dreaded tax time. We know that life gets a little busy and that whilst time is flying by there is a collection of invoices and receipts piling up bit by bit in the glovebox of your car, the bottom of your handbag, or a digital invoice that is located somewhere in your email inbox amongst all of the junk subscription emails from the past year that you keep meaning to hit unsubscribe on.

Searching takes time, to help you narrow your search down we have compiled a list of specific document types you may have collected throughout the financial year that will be needed for your tax appointment to advise of your income and to verify employment related expenses that are claimable as income tax deductions.

The below checklist can be printed, completed and brought to your appointment on the day, or you can simply use it as a visual guide whilst you collect the corresponding documents.
